Firestone, the iconic tyre brand, has deep roots in live music, using it as a way to bring people together from around the world. Sofar Sounds reimagines the live event experience through curated, secret performances in more than 420 cities around the world. In 2018, Sofar and Firestone teamed up to celebrate music and community through a series of 10 intimate concerts in 5 cities across Europe: Barcelona, Warsaw, Paris, Hamburg and Milan. 30 emerging artists performed in unique automotive-inspired venues for crowds of 100-150 guests. A content campaign of photos, 20+ recap videos and 15+ full-song performance videos enabled even more fans to take part in the magic after-the-fact.
As Project Manager, I was ultimately responsible for ensuring a successful campaign from signed S.O.W. through reporting and renewal. I led an international team of local producers to identify and book talent, vet and dress venues, oversee event staffing and AV teams, create clickworthy content, execute social and digital promotion, and accurately track campaign engagement and impact. As Firestone’s main point of contact, I led weekly project status updates, presentation of talent and venue options, promotional asset development and launch, and all content review, approvals and distribution. Firestone renewed their partnership with Sofar Sounds in 2019, so we will be back with another set of buzzworthy showcases which you can see updates for here.
